Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant - (Bank) Nights

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant to join the night shift team at a premier healthcare facility in Glasgow, UK. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining immaculate hygiene standards and a safe, welcoming clinical environment during unsocial hours.

Working on a flexible bank contract basis, you will carry out essential cleaning duties across both clinical and non-clinical hospital areas. You will manage your workload efficiently during night shifts, ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare various hospital spaces, including clinical wards and non-clinical areas, maintaining high sanitation standards.

• Safely operate powered cleaning equipment while adhering strictly to COSHH and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) guidelines.

• Assist with night-shift maintenance tasks to ensure a spotless, comfortable environment for patients and healthcare staff.

Requirements

• Active PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme membership or clear status.

• Working knowledge of COSHH regulations and Infection Prevention and Control best practices (healthcare experience preferred).

• Flexibility to work night shifts and unsocial hours on an ad-hoc basis with strong attention to detail.
