Nursery Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join the Nuffy Bear Day Nursery in Bristol, UK. In this flexible bank role, you will assist in providing high-quality care, early education, and developmental support to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Working within an Ofsted-registered setting that follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. This position is ideal for an individual passionate about early years education looking for flexible ad-hoc shifts within a dedicated childcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily care, early education, and wellbeing activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years following the EYFS framework.

• Maintain clear, positive communication with parents, carers, and nursery staff regarding children's daily progress and needs.

• Help create a clean, safe, and engaging environment that promotes learning, play, and physical development.

Requirements

• Proven experience or strong understanding of communicating with and caring for young children in a structured setting.

• An enhanced DBS check (required as part of the application process).

• Paediatric First Aid qualification is highly desirable (though not essential).
