About the Role
As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a central role in shaping the social, mental, and physical wellbeing of residents by designing and delivering imaginative, tailored activities programmes that cater to all interests and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Person-Centred Event Planning: Get to know residents and their families to build tailored activity calendars that promote independence, joy, and social engagement.
Creative Programming: Devise a varied schedule of motivational events, hobbies, seasonal celebrations, and group projects within the home.
Community Engagement: Coordinate local community outings, guest visits, and events to keep residents connected with the broader Wells community.
Team & Resident Participation: Use infectious enthusiasm to inspire residents, family members, and staff to get involved in daily activities.
About You
No prior care home experience is strictly required—we provide all the training you need! We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:

Skills: Excellent organizational and planning skills, a driven mindset, and creative problem-solving abilities.
