Salary: £42,000 to £49,000 per annum (WTE dependent on experience; NHS Pension offered)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time (37.5 hours per week over 5 days)

About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Trust Primary Care Ltd (TPC)—a federation of 16 local GP practices in and around Bradford—to source an experienced and dedicated Pharmacist. Operating out of TPC's established Pharmacy Hub, you will work collaboratively with practice managers, the GP Clinical Lead, the Lead Clinical Pharmacist, and a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to deliver high-quality pharmacy services across local Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and specialist clinics in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct structured clinical medication reviews, patient-facing medicines support, and long-term condition clinics.
Provide telephone medicines support, manage repeat prescribing, and oversee drug monitoring, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support the management of common, minor, and self-limiting ailments, unplanned hospital admissions, and medicines adjustments at changes of care settings.
Contribute to service development, research and development, and the implementation of local and national guidelines and formulary recommendations.
Participate in education and training, public health campaign support, and Care Quality Commission (CQC) compliance work.
Person Specification & Requirements
Qualifications & Registration: Vocational Master's degree in Pharmacy (4 years) plus 1-year pre-registration training, with mandatory, current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification working experience within general practice, backed by extensive knowledge of medicines optimisation (via a postgraduate clinical pharmacy diploma or equivalent experience/training).
Training & Accreditations: Successful completion of the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway (PCPEP) and successful completion of—or currently studying toward—an Independent Prescriber qualification.
Core Skills & Qualities: Ability to analyse complex prescribing information, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a growth mindset contributing to service innovation, and a commitment to reducing health inequalities.
Compliance: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required, along with proof of eligibility to work in the UK, own transport, and the ability to travel regularly across the locality.
