Rate of Pay: £20.72 - £22.84 per hour (Paid breaks included + £1,000 Welcome Bonus)
Contract Type: Full-Time (Flexible options: 12 hours days or 48 hours nights, 12-hour shifts)
About the Role
We are partnering with Bupa Heol Don Care Home in Whitchurch, Cardiff, to find a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse on a permanent, full-time basis. Heol Don is dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence, and honouring choice to help residents live their best lives in a warm, thriving community.
As a Registered Nurse through Supportive Bridge, you will play a pivotal role in managing unit clinical duties, ensuring high clinical standards, and providing vital support to residents while utilizing digital care training to focus on clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for the well-being of residents, making sure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Manage unit clinical duties, including oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, and reviewing individualised care plans.
Coach, mentor, and guide the care team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes to maintain best practice.
Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
What We Are Looking For
A qualified Registered Nurse with a valid, active NMC pin.
Previous experience maintaining high clinical standards and ensuring policies are strictly followed.
Strong critical thinking skills, self-reliance, and the ability to manage care staff calmly in emergency situations (especially vital if working night shifts).
Effective communication skills and a genuine passion for building meaningful connections with residents and their families.
