About the Role
BAE Systems is undergoing a business-led, technology-enabled transformation of its finance function through the implementation of multiple SAP products. As the Integration Project Manager, you will act as the primary liaison between the programme and senior IM&T stakeholders. You will manage data, technical dependencies, and third-party delivery partners to ensure seamless alignment across schedules, budgets, and operational goals.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between the transformation programme and Sector/LoB IM&T teams, building robust stakeholder relationships.
Identify, document, and manage data, integration, environment, and technical dependencies across delivery partners.
Lead planning and coordination for data and technical change delivery, ensuring adherence to schedules, resource constraints, and cost estimates.
Influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts with senior stakeholders to maintain collaborative momentum.
Proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID) with effective mitigation and PMO alignment.
Facilitate technology forums, governance meetings, and post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For (Essential Skills & Qualifications):
Project Management Certification: Hold a formal project management accreditation such as APM PMQ, PRINCE2, or ChPP.
SAP & Transformation Experience: Comprehensive knowledge of SAP Activate and proven experience delivering complex SAP-enabled business transformations (strongly preferred).
Methodologies: Solid understanding and practical application of both Waterfall and Hybrid Agile delivery methodologies.
Lifecycle Delivery: Demonstrated track record of successfully managing IT-related projects from initial inception through to full deployment.
Security Note: Due to defense and export control restrictions, all applicants must achieve at least a Baseline Personnel Security Standard, with many roles requiring higher National Security Vetting (typically 5 to 10 years of continuous UK residency).
