What You Will Be Doing
As a qualified RMN, you will ensure that service users with mental health conditions receive high-quality care, while supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.
Provide high-quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care to service users.
Take responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members.
Observe, record, and report all service user changes while maintaining accurate clinical records.
Key Skills & Qualifications
A relevant nursing qualification (RMN).
Active NMC registration.
Strong team-working and communication skills.
A high level of self-motivation with a flexible and adaptable approach.
A positive, naturally caring, and compassionate attitude.
A strong commitment to high-quality care and evidence-based practice.
Where You Will Be Working
Thornford Park is a 141-bedded independent hospital supporting service users who require medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services, alongside a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Mental Health Service. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team providing personalized assessment and treatment pathways for males with mental illness/complex care needs or personality disorders, as well as patients within the PICU service.
