Position: Night Care Leader

Location: The Lakes Care Centre, Spine Road East, South Cerney, Cirencester, GL7 5TL

Pay Rate: £16.51 per hour (NVQ & Weekend Enhancements Available)

Contract Type: Bank (0 Hours)

Shift Pattern: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

About the Role

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are partnering with this esteemed not-for-profit provider to find an experienced, compassionate Night Care Leader for The Lakes Care Centre in South Cerney.

If you are an experienced carer looking to step up into a leadership role and prefer working nights, this is the perfect opportunity. You will lead a small, dedicated team of carers to ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of residents throughout the night. By keeping accurate records, reviewing care plans, and acting as a supportive role model, you will help foster a warm, secure, and engaging environment where residents feel valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a night care team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.

• Maintain a wakeful watch over the safety, security, and general wellbeing of residents and the home.

• Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and documentation is kept accurate and up to date.

• Manage time effectively between supporting your team and looking after residents' individual needs.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3).

• Experience: Previous experience in a care setting with a desire to progress to a role with greater responsibility.

• Attributes: A positive role model with excellent communication skills, natural empathy, and a supportive leadership style.
