Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Support: Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks to optimize machinery output, product quality, and plant uptime.
Fault Finding & Problem Solving: Develop quick, effective responses to equipment breakdowns, learn to identify root causes, and apply problem-solving techniques.
Standards & Safety: Follow good engineering standards, strict site hygiene practices, and all company and legislative health and safety requirements.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with experienced engineers and colleagues across the business to support overall site performance and minimize disruption.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Maths and English (Science is desirable), alongside numerical and reasoning ability to meet apprenticeship entry requirements.
Aptitude & Attitude: A practical aptitude, strong interest in engineering, positive mindset, and self-motivation.
Skills: Good communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: Previous engineering experience is welcome, though not essential.
