As a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator, you will ensure our residents receive the vital mental and physical stimulation they need to remain healthy, fulfilled, and happy. From organising musical acts, exercise classes, and arts and crafts sessions to coordinating exciting day trips and birthday surprises, your creativity and enthusiasm will make every day vibrant and fun.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify engaging activities for residents through careful assessment, observation, conversation, and precise record-keeping.
Build deep connections with residents, their families, friends, and colleagues to understand individual interests, abilities, and hobbies.
Support the Head of Activities in orchestrating special events like garden parties, concerts, and excursions while tracking budgets and financial records.
Assist residents with personal tasks such as letter writing, shopping, and reading, encouraging active participation in their favorite hobbies.
Regularly refresh, promote, and market the activities program within the village and the local community.
Previous experience organizing events, ideally working with the elderly and/or vulnerable individuals.
A positive attitude, energetic disposition, and a humorous, approachable nature that effortlessly inspires residents.
High levels of empathy, friendliness, and strong communication skills to build enduring relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
