Staff Nurse – Ward
About this role
As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will deliver evidence-based nursing care to both inpatient and day-case patients, working flexible shifts including weekend rotations. Utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, you will pay close attention to individual patient needs and collaborate across departments to maintain continuous, high-standard patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional, individualised nursing care within a consultant-led ward covering general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, and other specialties.
Collaborate closely with consultants, matrons, and multidisciplinary hospital teams to ensure seamless care continuity.
Maintain clinical compliance, adhere to safety standards, and operate advanced medical equipment within the department.
Requirements
Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
Proven post-registration nursing experience, ideally within an acute hospital or ward setting.
Excellent communication skills, strong clinical focus, and a collaborative team mindset.
