Working as a permanent Care Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily living, provide meaningful companionship, and share great moments and memories. Whether you are supporting residents with food and drink, following personalized care plans, or ensuring dedicated one-to-one time, this is a wonderful opportunity to put your people skills to meaningful use.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Assist residents with daily living routines and personal care needs.
Provide warm companionship and ensure each resident receives dedicated one-to-one time.
Support residents with food, drink, and nutritional intake.
Follow established individual care plans accurately and consistently.
Foster a bright, engaging, and supportive environment during day shifts.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
Some previous experience in caring for older people.
A proactive, positive "can-do" approach to daily challenges.
Excellent communication skills and a natural, warm-hearted disposition.
Genuine empathy, deep compassion, and a strong commitment to high standards of care.
