We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team, lead by example, and help deliver exceptional person-centred care to our residents.
About the Role & Location
Where You’ll Be Working: Edgehill Care Home in Swindon, Wiltshire (a CQC-regulated care home).
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, including working alternate weekends.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Person-Centred Care: Ensure residents receive respectful personal care (bathing, dressing, oral care) that promotes choice and independence.
Care Reviews: Contribute to and carry out care reviews with residents so their plans accurately reflect their evolving needs.
Medication Management: Safely and compliantly administer resident medication.
Social Activities: Lead and participate in trips out, social engagements, and in-home activities.
Leadership: Support new starters and existing staff with shadowing and development, and step up to lead the home when more senior managers are unavailable.
What We Need From You
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or currently working towards it).
A minimum of 12 months on your legal right to work in the UK.
A compassionate, proactive leadership approach.
