About the Role

Prefer working evenings and nights while keeping active away from the typical 9-to-5? Through Bridge Staffing Agency, we are recruiting a night-shift Warehouse Operative for Bidfood in Manchester. You will play a vital role behind the scenes, working across ambient, chilled, and frozen environments to pick customer orders using hand scanner technology and ensure vehicles are loaded and ready for morning deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Picking & Loading: Accurately pick customer orders using hand scanner technology and load delivery vehicles efficiently.

• Stock Management: Organise, store, and move products correctly using pump trucks, power pallet trucks, and forklifts (full training provided).

• Team Support: Collaborate with a dedicated night team to keep operations running smoothly overnight and ensure drivers leave on schedule.

• Physical Fitness: A good level of physical fitness for an active, fast-paced manual handling role during night hours.

• Flexibility: Availability to work Sunday to Thursday night shifts (20:30 – 06:00).

• Helpful Experience: Previous multi-temperature warehousing, hand scanner technology use, or FLT equipment experience is advantageous, though not essential.
