What You Will Be Doing
As a Practice Nurse, you will support service users on their journey to build a brighter future while collaborating closely with your clinical colleagues.
Work alongside the multidisciplinary team to support and encourage service users to improve their physical health.
Take responsibility for clinical risk assessments and liaise closely with onsite GP services.
Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
Implement vital screening processes and maintain high standards of evidence-based clinical practice.
Navigate a dynamic day-to-day routine filled with engaging and meaningful clinical responsibilities.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Registered General Nurse (RGN) experience.
Relevant nursing qualification.
Active NMC registration.
Previous experience working in a similar clinical environment.
Clear evidence of ongoing clinical practice development.
Where You Will Be Working
You will be based at Thornford Park, a comprehensive independent hospital in Thatcham, Berkshire, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, personality disorders, and forensic secure care pathways. You'll be part of a recovery-focused team helping service users progress safely toward greater independence.
