What You Will Be Doing
Provide high-quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care to service users managing complex mental health issues.
Take full responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
Act as a mentor and provide professional support to junior team members, fostering positive teamwork.
Observe, record, and report all changes in service user conditions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
Key Skills & Qualifications
A relevant professional nursing qualification with a valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD).
Note: Candidates must have completed their Preceptorship, with evidence provided.
Strong team-working skills combined with high self-motivation and a flexible approach.
A naturally caring, compassionate disposition with a deep commitment to values- and evidence-based practice.
Where You Will Be Working
Three Valleys Hospital in Keighley, West Yorkshire (BD20 6TU) provides care for people with complex mental health issues across five specialist wards—including a specialist dementia service. The hospital features gender-specific rehabilitation and step-down services across 43 en-suite bedrooms with warm, spacious, and homely communal areas.
