Role Overview
Position: Administration Assistant
Location: Lewin House, 61 Belgrave Road, Aylesbury, HP19 9HP
Pay Rate: £12.97 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, 30 hours per week
Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026
About Lewin House
Lewin House is a modern, spacious nursing home in Aylesbury with 70 individual rooms spread across four specialized wings. Designed for effective care delivery, the home features plenty of indoor communal areas and outdoor spaces, offering a vibrant and stimulating environment for residents.
What You Will Be Doing
Supporting the Home Manager with reception duties, general administration, and basic finance activities to keep the home running smoothly.
Acting as the friendly first point of contact for visitors, families, and staff, maintaining a professional and welcoming manner.
Managing visitor compliance with infection control protocols, coordinating testing requirements, handling couriers, and keeping reports up to date.
Assisting with the planning and management of fun home events, milestone birthday celebrations, fetes, and employee presentations.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous administrative or reception experience, with confidence in using Microsoft Office and handling cash. GCSE Maths and English are ideal.
Key Traits: Comfortable working in an elderly care setting, able to relate to residents with sensitivity, and highly organized with great interpersonal and communication skills.
