About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Branston to recruit dedicated Key Operatives / Line Leaders for their prepared foods factory night shift just outside Lincoln.

In this vital role, you will oversee the day-to-day running of production lines, ensuring that machinery is set up correctly, operated efficiently, and monitored throughout the shift. You will be instrumental in keeping production flowing smoothly by handling paperwork, resolving minor issues, escalating faults when necessary, and upholding top-tier quality, safety, and output targets.

Shift Pattern

• Days: Sunday to Thursday

• Hours: 18:00 PM to Finish (approx. 8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Line Management: Take daily ownership of production line operations, ensuring consistent workflow and target achievement.

• Machinery Oversight: Set up, monitor, and operate manufacturing machinery in full compliance with company procedures.

• Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and resolve minor operational issues or escalate faults efficiently to minimize downtime.

• Administration: Accurately complete required production paperwork and shift logs.

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and adhere strictly to quality and safety standards.

Skills & Experience Required

• Great communication skills, with the confidence to lead, guide, and motivate team members.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Previous experience working within a food manufacturing or fast-paced production environment.

• Hands-on experience operating, monitoring, or overseeing machinery on a production line.

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset geared toward continuous improvement.
