The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will be at the heart of delivering person-centred care that supports independence, honours choice, and promotes dignity. You will provide essential support ranging from daily personal care to engaging social activities that enrich our residents' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements, from everyday companionship to personal care.
Observe and manage resident wellbeing, documenting and reporting any changes in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Assist with residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and helping them eat and drink according to their personalized care plans.
Provide physical and mental stimulation through meaningful social and recreational activities, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care records in line with regulatory standards.
What We Are Looking For
A motivated, positive individual with great interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to work seamlessly both independently and as a valued member of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Desirable: Previous experience working in a care home environment or a recognized Health and Social Care qualification.
