As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll look after the diverse needs of our residents and oversee high standards of care delivery. Key responsibilities include:
Team Leadership: Supervising, mentoring, and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
Clinical & Practical Support: Assisting the clinical team in specialized areas such as medication management, assessments, care planning, and care reviews.
Person-Centred Care: Safeguarding resident dignity, preferences, and comfort while fostering a welcoming, peaceful, and secure home atmosphere.
We are looking for an experienced and warm-hearted care professional who meets the following criteria:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Knowledge: Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
Attributes: Compassionate, motivational, well-organized, and deeply committed to delivering high standards of individualised care.
Career Growth: Many Senior Care Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles, making this an ideal stepping stone for your career.
