Salary: £15.09 per hour + £2.00 per hour shift allowance before 06:00 and on weekends
Contract Type: Permanent (Secure contract with guaranteed hours and overtime opportunities)
Working Hours: 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (05:30 – 18:00)
About the Role
We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit motivated individuals as Machine Minders for their busy further-processing site in Caistor. No prior experience is necessary, as full training is provided from day one! This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent career where you will undertake machine interventions and first-line troubleshooting to keep production lines running smoothly in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operations & Maintenance: Perform start-up and close-down procedures, execute line changes smoothly, and minimize equipment downtime through first-line troubleshooting.
Problem-Solving & Data: Report live operational data to engineering and production teams, and help identify and implement workplace improvements.
Stock & Line Efficiency: Monitor and maintain stock levels while carrying out production operative duties when required to keep the line running at peak efficiency.
Quality & Hygiene: Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and quality standards within a refrigerated, dynamic food production setting.

What We Are Looking For
Skills: A good level of basic English and numeracy skills, strong attention to detail, and a flexible, positive attitude toward daily tasks.
Experience: Previous background in a production or manufacturing environment is desirable, but not essential as comprehensive training is fully provided.
Teamwork: The ability to work well within a collaborative team and communicate effectively across departments.
