Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Morrisons to recruit a high-performing Fresh Food Manager for their Lawley store in Telford.
In this vital management role, you will help drive business growth and success by taking pride in product availability and placing customers at the heart of everything you do. Operating within our unique Market Street environment—backed by close relationships with farmers and growers—you will lead, empower, and develop your team to deliver exceptional service, manage department operations, and ensure market-leading standards across the store.
Lead and empower colleagues to always put the customer first and deliver outstanding service.
Listen and respond to customer and colleague feedback, reacting accordingly.
Ensure market-leading product availability across the store.
Collaborate with other store managers to lead a supportive and performance-driven department.
Efficiently manage people routines, including departmental scheduling, absence tracking, performance management, and talent development.
Deliver effective training to build team capability, confidence, and cross-functional flexibility.
Build effective relationships with other operating departments and key stakeholders.
Ensure resources are planned thoroughly and target performance metrics are met.
Proven experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment (retail, hospitality, service industry, or travel & tourism).
A passion for fresh food, retail excellence, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Great communication skills with the ability to share knowledge, best practices, and lead by example.
Adaptable to change, with the ability to challenge effectively and work flexibly.
Strong capability in building and maintaining relationships across all areas of the business.
