Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to help fill a permanent, high-level Divisional Activities Lead role based out of Oaklands Care Home (supporting the Central Division).
This is a fantastic senior opportunity to drive life enrichment standards, mentor activity teams, and champion exceptional resident experiences across multiple care homes.
Location: Oaklands Care Home, Bottisham, Cambridge, CB25 9BX (with regular travel across the Central Division)
Pay Rate: Up to £43,775 per annum
Hours: 40.00 hours per week (Permanent, full-time contract)
Shifts: Days
As the Divisional Activities Lead, you will champion a whole-home approach to life enrichment, ensuring all activities adhere strictly to the Care and Life Enrichment Framework to drive outstanding regulatory outcomes. Your main responsibilities will include:
Providing ongoing support, training, and quarterly face-to-face coaching for Activity Coordinators across the division
Conducting weekly visits and implementing actionable support plans for homes identified as needing assistance
Building strong local community links and national partnerships to enhance resident life enrichment
Analyzing divisional data, guiding staff through digital tools, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams (marketing, quality & regulation, nursing, and dementia specialists)
To qualify for this senior divisional role, you will need:
GCSE level in Maths and English
Proven experience in delivering and providing in-person wellbeing and activities sessions
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a senior audience
A proven track record of delivering targets under pressure and working effectively in multi-functional teams
Essential: A full UK driving licence with the ability to travel across the region, including required overnight stays
