• Location: Luton Regional Distribution Centre (Woodside Link, Houghton Road, Chalton, LU4 9TX)

• Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40-hour contract)

• Shifts: PM Shifts

  • Fruit & Veg: 13:00 - 21:30

  • Ambient & Chiller: 14:30 - 23:00

• Salary: £13.80 - £14.45 per hour* (plus an extra £2.00/hr during bank holidays and £3.50/hr for night shifts)

As a Warehouse Operative, you are the backbone of the supply chain. Working on the PM shift, you’ll ensure that Lidl stores across the region receive exactly what they need, when they need it. Using voice-picking headsets to independently complete your orders, you will play a crucial role in getting thousands of products ready for delivery. What You’ll Do

• Voice Picking: Swiftly and carefully navigate the warehouse, following picking instructions sent through your headset.

• Secure Deliveries: Pack and stack a variety of goods (including ambient, fresh, and frozen products) to ensure they are secure and ready for transit.

• Cold Chain Operations: Work comfortably across different temperature zones, including the chiller and freezer.

• Quality Control: Check stock as you go, reporting any damaged items to your manager.

• Work Independently: Take ownership of your daily targets to keep the supply chain moving smoothly.

What You’ll Need

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment is a major plus, though full training is provided!

• Strong self-motivation and the drive to meet your daily picking targets.

• Excellent attention to detail while working quickly.

• Reliability and a team-focused, positive attitude.

• Physical fitness to handle lifting and moving products throughout your shift.
