Location: Shobdon, Herefordshire
Salary: £18.48 per hour + £1.25 per hour unsocial hours allowance (for hours worked between 18:00–06:00 on weekdays and all-day weekend work), paid weekly
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Guaranteed 48 hours per week (Sunday to Thursday, with start times between 16:00 – 19:00)

We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit a reliable and dedicated Class 1 Hatchery Driver for their agricultural transport team based in Shobdon. Key Responsibilities
Livestock & Product Distribution: Safely collect and distribute eggs from various breeder farms to the hatchery, and deliver healthy chicks to company and contract broiler farms.
Load Security & Manual Handling: Ensure the security of all loads at all times. Please note: This is a hands-on role that includes manual handling and lifting equipment weighing up to 20kg.
Compliance & Regulations: Strictly adhere to Health and Safety standards, the Working Time Directive, and all legislative driving requirements.
Professional Representation: Present a professional company image on all farm sites and act as a key liaison with site managers.

What We Are Looking For
Licences & Qualifications: A valid C+E driving licence, an in-date CPC, and a valid Tacho card.
Attitude: A self-motivated, flexible, committed, and reliable work ethic, with the ability to work independently on farm sites.
Important Requirement: Due to strict Bird Welfare standards, applicants must not own any avian pets, poultry, or porcine.
