Working as a permanent Kitchen Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will play an essential part in creating a wonderful dining experience for every resident. From food preparation to getting to know residents personally and enhancing their daily hospitality, your impact will extend far beyond the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Help produce wholesome, nutritious meals to support resident health and wellbeing.
Assist with food preparation while maintaining the highest hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
Create an enjoyable, welcoming dining experience and interact directly with residents.
Support the catering team and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the home.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
A reliable, considerate, and caring approach to daily tasks.
A strong commitment to maintaining impeccable standards during food preparation.
Great people skills and a friendly disposition.
Note: Formal qualifications are not necessary, though previous kitchen or catering experience in a commercial or care setting is a bonus—full training will be provided!
