In this flexible bank position, you will work alongside registered nurses and consultant surgeons to provide exceptional pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
Working within a modern 28-bed inpatient environment, you will play a key role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout their hospital stay. Key Responsibilities
Assist registered nursing staff in providing direct pre- and post-surgical patient care on the hospital ward.
Perform basic administrative and clinical support duties to ensure smooth daily ward operations.
Build positive rapport with patients to deliver personalized care and reassure them throughout their treatment.
Requirements
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care.
Relevant prior experience working in an acute hospital or care home setting.
Good computer database skills, clear telephone manner, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
