About the Role
Join our esteemed defence and technology client and take a senior role in assuring the quality and successful delivery of complex systems! As a staffing partner, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for this vital Testing Lead position on behalf of BAE Systems.
In this role within the Solution Design Definition and Delivery (SDD&D) team, you will take charge of assuring Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions and their integration with key enterprise systems like CAD, FORAN, and SAP. You will lead and coordinate software testing activities across interconnected systems, helping to drive best practices and ensure high performance from end to end.
Key Responsibilities
Testing Leadership: Manage day-to-day test activities on a test phase under the guidance of the Test Manager, taking a senior role within Scrum teams.
Test Design & Execution: Design, execute, and report on test cases while collaborating with customers and team members to ensure clear Acceptance Criteria.
Defect Management: Oversee defect identification, tracking, prioritization, resolution, and reporting in close cooperation with development teams.
Team Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and support junior test analysts while building positive, collaborative relationships with internal customers and IT/Engineering stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
Testing Methodologies: Sound knowledge of various testing methodologies and frameworks, including Agile, Scrum (highly desirable), V-Model, and Waterfall.
Technical Proficiency: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside experience in creating and manipulating XML data.
Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a small test team on Agile projects.
Tool Familiarity: Proficiency with test and tracking tools such as JIRA, Xray, and Eggplant (Keysight), ideally with a focus on automation capabilities.
