We are proud to partner with Circle Health Group—Britain’s leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a skilled and compassionate Children and Young Adult Speech & Language Therapist for the department at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow.
Conduct detailed clinical assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing functions using specialized tools and techniques.
Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals, including communication therapy and dysphagia management.
Monitor progress, adjust intervention plans to optimize outcomes, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HCPC and RCSLT policies.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including medical staff, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists—during ward rounds and care planning.
Provide expert education and support to patients, families, and carers regarding therapy strategies, communication aids, and safe swallowing practices.
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
Registration: Current, valid HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist, alongside membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
Experience: Essential proven experience working with Children and Young People (CYP), specifically dealing with speech delays and communication/swallowing disorders.
Desirable Criteria: Postgraduate training in dysphagia, background experience in acute hospital, neurorehabilitation, or critical care settings, and involvement in quality improvement or audit initiatives.
Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, independent decision-making, and exceptional communication abilities.
Competitive Pay Rate: Earn up to £45.00 per hour.
