Role Overview
As a Cleaner, you will play an essential part in keeping the store looking its absolute best for customers and colleagues alike. From maintaining pristine shop floors and managing outdoor spaces to ensuring top-tier hygiene and safety standards, every sweep of your brush helps deliver the fantastic in-store experience Lidl is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Maintenance: Thoroughly maintain the store, welfare areas (including toilets), and waste/recycling sections to keep everything spotless.
Outdoor Standards: Keep the car park, trolley bays, and outside spaces clean and tidy to ensure a great first impression.
Equipment & Minor Repairs: Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery and carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
Health & Safety: Proactively uphold strict hygiene, Health and Safety standards across the board.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is beneficial, though not essential.
Mindset: A hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail, and the drive to work independently to the highest standard.
Passion: A genuine pride in doing the best job possible for your store and your team.
What You Will Receive
Competitive Pay: £13.45 - £14.45 per hour (plus £2.00 extra for bank holidays and £3.50 extra for night hours if worked).
