About the Role
Are you an experienced clinical leader looking to step into a pivotal management role where you can truly shape the standard of care? We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join the family at Whittington House, a 50-bedded nursing, dementia, and residential care home in Cheltenham.
In this fully supernumerary role, you will work hand-in-hand with the Home Manager to lead our passionate team, ensure the highest quality of clinical delivery, and create a warm, family-like environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations and leadership of the care home.
Ensure all care practices meet regulatory and company standards of excellence.
Oversee the creation and implementation of personalised care plans in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Lead, mentor, and inspire nursing and care staff to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
Conduct regular audits and quality assessments to continuously improve service delivery.
Act as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare professionals in the absence of the Home Manager.
What We Are Looking For
A qualified Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
Proven experience in a clinical leadership or management role within social care.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate elderly and dementia care.
