Support Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with vital healthcare and public service providers to connect top-tier facilities management professionals with essential roles. We are currently recruiting an experienced Estates Technical Manager to join our health team at Wycombe Hospital.
In this leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality technical facilities management services within a busy healthcare environment. You will ensure critical building services, plant equipment, and infrastructure remain safe, fully compliant, and operational—directly supporting exceptional healthcare delivery and making a meaningful difference for patients, visitors, and NHS teams every day.
Technical Leadership: Lead and manage the day-to-day delivery of technical estates and hard facilities management services across the hospital environment.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, statutory regulations, and contractual requirements while maintaining operational excellence.
Deputising: Act as a deputy for the Contract Manager and represent the Estates department when required.
Planned Maintenance: Produce and manage the delivery of the annual planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule for all engineering systems and critical infrastructure.
Stakeholder Relations: Build strong, trusted relationships with NHS clients, stakeholders, colleagues, and third-party providers as an advocate for service excellence.
Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop the Estates team through coaching, mentoring, and effective performance management.
Risk & Financial Management: Manage operational risks, asset replacement programmes, and financial budgets, focusing on cost control, forecasting, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications: An HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, backed by substantial industry experience.
Health & Safety: Hold an IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or higher).
Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of building services, healthcare estates, and Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs).
Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading teams, managing performance, driving positive operational outcomes, and handling complex budgets.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
