As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will join the growing Credit and Risk finance team at NEXT, a FTSE-100 retail giant. What You Will Do

• Reporting & Ad-Hoc Analysis: Produce regular reporting, analyze complex trends, and contribute valuable ideas and solutions to identified risks or opportunities.

• Strategy Development: Collaborate with Senior Analysts to design, test, and implement suitable lending strategies using multiple data sources.

• Risk & Process Evaluation: Identify risks and opportunities across current processes and rules through advanced data analysis.

• Stakeholder Presentation: Build and present clear reports and monitoring metrics related to credit risk at internal meetings.

• Actionable Insights: Translate complex findings into compelling, easy-to-understand stories that help stakeholders make informed commercial decisions.

What You Will Bring

• Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience working in an analyst position, ideally within consumer lending or financial services.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, with familiarity in tools like Python, Databricks, Excel, and PowerBI considered a distinct advantage.

• Analytical Mindset: Highly numerate, naturally logical problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and secure buy-in for change.
