About the Role
We are partnering with Queensmount Care Home in Bournemouth to find a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant. Queensmount is dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence, and honouring choice so that residents can live their best lives.
As a Kitchen Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will act as the warm bridge between the main kitchen and our residents. You will help chefs plate meals, prepare food trolleys, maintain pristine preparation standards, and assist with special events like summer BBQs and Christmas parties to ensure residents enjoy an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the welcoming link between the main kitchen and our residents.
Assist chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and keeping all preparation areas spotless, clean, and tidy.
Monitor stock rotation and comply fully with company policies, COSHH, and HACCP guidelines.
Assist with catering for special social events, community gatherings, and celebrations.
What Me Are Looking For
A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
A warm, communicative nature, eager to engage with residents and cherish those little moments that make them feel right at home.
