About this role
As a Kitchen Assistant - Bank, you will assist with food preparation, kitchen cleaning, and the safe handling of food in line with hygiene and safety standards. You will work closely with the catering team to ensure residents receive high-quality meals in a clean, safe, and well-organised environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, beverage service, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and COSHH procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Support the catering team with stock management and provide a respectful service to residents and visitors.
Requirements
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Understanding of Health & Safety procedures, including COSHH, Fire Safety, and Moving and Handling.
Positive, flexible, and reliable team player with a caring attitude towards residents.
