As part of the world-renowned Air Team, you will embed within a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), helping underwrite the air safety of cutting-edge platforms supported by BAE Systems. Role Overview
As a Graduate Maintenance Engineer, you will work within a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation, providing services that underwrite platform air safety. Your role will involve active interaction with customer locations, aircraft maintenance organizations, and supply chain partners. You will experience several core disciplines, including Fleet Management, Maintenance Planning and Tasking, Technical Information Management, Airworthiness Records, Reliability & Maintenance Programmes, and Technical Services.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Fleet Status Reporting: Collate and present accurate aircraft status information.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor ongoing aircraft operating performance and carry out ad hoc performance studies on aircraft and components.
Maintenance Planning: Plan and promulgate management plans for aircraft and component maintenance.
Continuous Improvement: Review current ways of working and assess opportunities for improvement, particularly concerning emerging and maturing technologies.
Team Collaboration: Take an active part in team discussions from both technical and behavioral perspectives.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Academic Background: Must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree (or a pass at Master's level) in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
Working Arrangement: On-site presence in Warton or Samlesbury 3 days per week under hybrid working guidelines.
Security Clearance: All applicants must achieve, as a minimum, the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Note: Due to strict security and export control restrictions, candidates must meet national identity, birthplace, and residency criteria (typically requiring continuous UK residency of 5 to 10 years for higher-level national security vetting).
