We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker with great people skills and a positive, proactive approach to join our amazing team in Wareham, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and complex needs.
About the Role & Location
Where You’ll Be Working: A dedicated service in Wareham supporting up to 11 people to live independently.
Contract Type: Bank positions available, offering flexibility.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Encouraging: Empowering individuals to play active roles in their communities and foster independence.
Supporting: Assisting with daily living activities, including social activities, personal care, routines, meal planning, and budgeting.
Communicating & Engaging: Communicating effectively using preferred methods and motivating residents to enhance their quality of life.
Specializing: Applying positive behavioural support approaches when needed.
Recording & Teamwork: Keeping accurate records, reporting changes to management, and working well both independently and as part of a team.
What We Need From You
A full UK Driver's Licence.
A minimum of 12 months on your legal right to work in the UK.
An enthusiastic, proactive, and compassionate attitude.
