Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to represent our client, Branston, in hiring a detail-oriented Fixed Asset Controller on a temporary, full-time basis.
In this vital role, you will take full ownership of fixed asset and capital expenditure processes, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, budget tracking, and effective governance. Working collaboratively with operational teams, you will help drive efficiency, process improvements, and strategic compliance across a fast-paced business environment.
Capital & Asset Management: Manage the fixed asset and capital expenditure processes, ensuring precise record-keeping and stringent financial controls.
Budget Oversight: Monitor capital expenditure and budgets closely, highlighting variances, risks, and commercial opportunities.
Fixed Asset Register: Maintain the fixed asset register comprehensively, tracking asset additions, transfers, depreciation, and disposals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operational teams to ensure financial policies and purchasing workflows are fully adhered to.
Reporting & Governance: Prepare routine management reports and analyses regarding capital expenditure and fixed assets to support financial governance, compliance, and audits.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and champion opportunities to streamline processes, enhance controls, and drive overall business efficiency.
Finance Support: Provide general assistance and cover for broader finance team activities when required.
Strong numerical accuracy and exceptional interpersonal/communication skills.
High proficiency across all Microsoft Suite applications, with advanced capabilities in Excel.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating self-motivation and strong workload prioritisation skills.
Currently starting or progressing through a professional financial qualification.
Relevant practical experience gained from a previous financial accountant or similar finance role.
Competitive Salary: Up to £33,500 per annum
