We are proud to partner with Circle Health Group—Britain’s leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a visionary Clinical Services Manager to help build and lead a brand-new Oncology Centre from the ground up at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow. This is a rare, high-impact leadership opportunity to shape expanding cancer services across Northwest London.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the operational launch and ongoing management of the new Oncology Centre, establishing a specialist nursing workforce and ensuring robust clinical governance.

• Lead the nursing team to deliver evidence-based, compassionate cancer care tailored to individual patient needs.

• Maintain a visible clinical presence as a role model by working at least one clinical shift per week and providing expert guidance to staff.

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations to guarantee safe staffing levels, appropriate skill mix, and efficient patient flow.

• Ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., CQC, HIS, HIW), professional standards (NMC), and Circle Health Group policies.

• Monitor and manage departmental budgets, ensuring the cost-effective use of resources and the achievement of financial targets.

• Provide direct line management to nursing teams, encompassing performance management, recruitment, absence management, and regular appraisals.

• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with consultants, RMOs, patients, and families, acting as a key escalation point for clinical queries and concerns.

Candidate Requirements

• Registration: Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid, active NMC registration.

• Specialist Qualifications: Level 6/7 qualification in Haematology/Oncology, alongside a Level 6/7 qualification in the administration of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT).

• Experience: Proven leadership background in a senior nursing or clinical management role specifically within Haematology/Oncology services.

• Knowledge & Skills: Deep understanding of clinical governance, patient safety frameworks, financial planning, budget management, and resource optimization. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and coordinate dynamic clinical services.

• Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and service-transformation skills.
