Salary: £13.30 per hour
Contract Type: Bank / Zero-Hour Contract (Total schedule flexibility)

We are partnering with Hazelmere House (part of Bupa) to find a warm, enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant for a flexible bank role. In this vital position, you will act as the key link between the main kitchen and our residents, working closely with the chefs to ensure every meal is served to perfection and helping our residents feel truly at home.
What You’ll Be Doing
Acting as a key bridge between the main kitchen and our residents.
Assisting chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and ensuring all prep areas are kept immaculate, clean, and tidy.
Monitoring stock rotation and strictly complying with company policies alongside mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
Helping cater for special events and seasonal activities, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
What We’re Looking For
A genuine passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen environment and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
A strong commitment to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
Excellent communication skills, a friendly team-player attitude, and a warm, caring nature that cherishes the little moments with residents.
