Maintenance (Day)
About this role
As a Maintenance (Day) professional, you will take responsibility for the ongoing upkeep, safety inspections, and general repairs across the care home grounds and building. Working alongside the wider home team, you will manage routine checks and resolve physical maintenance issues independently while displaying empathy around residents.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine Health and Safety inspections of the building, surrounding environment, and essential care equipment.
Perform general maintenance, minor repairs, and room preparation throughout the home, including resident bedrooms.
Prioritize safety work tasks effectively while ensuring minimal disruption to the daily routines of residents.
Requirements
Relevant maintenance qualifications (or willingness to obtain them) with a practical understanding of Health and Safety standards.
A clean driving license along with strong self-management, communication, and time-management skills.
Empathetic approach toward older adults, right to work in the UK, and flexibility to work some weekend shifts.
