As a Registered Nurse, you will serve as the Nurse in Charge during night shifts, delivering individualised, evidence-based care to residents. You will administer medications, manage care plans, handle clinical procedures, and lead care staff while collaborating closely with GPs and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Take charge of night shifts, managing medication administration, care planning, and infection control.
Perform clinical procedures including catheterisation, blood sampling, PEG feeding, syringe driver setup, and stoma care.
Lead and support the care team on duty, upholding clinical governance and safeguarding standards.
Requirements
Valid UK NMC PIN and active registration as an RGN, RMN, or RNLD.
Strong clinical decision-making skills with an understanding of dementia and complex care.
Proficiency with electronic care systems (PCS) and a sound understanding of MCA and DoLS.
