About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant - Nights, you will support and work alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff through the night. Your leadership and compassion will ensure our residents' physical and emotional well-being are constantly championed during nighttime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met, and updating written records to reflect any variations.
Participate in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Support residents safely with their medication requirements.
Undertake staff supervisions and support team members with their professional development where required.
Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals during the night shift, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.

Qualifications & Experience: Holder of an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes, with at least 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive and nurturing attitude toward supporting both residents and staff, and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
