(Coverage Radius: Up to 20 miles across Somerset/Avon including travel towards Weston-super-Mare, South Bristol, and Bath)
Pay Rate: £16.44 per hour
Hours: 44.00 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Mixed Shifts (Days & Nights)

About the Role
As a Regional Senior Care Assistant, you will provide vital care leadership and support across care homes within a 20-mile radius of Wells. You will ensure high care standards, oversee daily shift delivery, and build meaningful relationships with residents across multiple homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical & Operational Support: Monitor care delivery on duty, record clinical observations (blood pressure, temperature, etc.), and contribute to person-centred care planning.
Medication Administration: Safely manage and administer medications in accordance with regulatory frameworks and company policy.
Care Leadership: Mentor, guide, and support care teams across visiting homes to maintain consistent care quality.
Person-Centred Care & Companionship: Deliver hands-on care, ensuring every resident enjoys quality one-to-one time and emotional support on every shift.
About You
We are looking for a skilled senior carer with strong leadership capability, excellent clinical understanding, and the mobility to cover regional sites.
Requirements:
Qualifications: NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential.
Experience: Proven senior background in elderly care with training in medication administration.
Transport: Must possess a valid driver's license and own car (or reliable access to a vehicle) for travel up to 20 miles.
Attributes: Dedicated, resilient, empathetic, with strong decision-making and interpersonal skills.
