Working as a permanent Regional Senior Care Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care across a 20-mile radius. Your role will involve monitoring care delivery on duty, contributing to person-centred care planning, recording vital health observations (such as temperature and blood pressure), and ensuring that every resident enjoys meaningful one-to-one time during every single shift.

Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

• Deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful senior care across local Barchester homes within a 20-mile radius.

• Monitor care delivery when on duty and actively contribute to person-centred care planning.

• Record key health observations (e.g., temperature and blood pressure).

• Provide meaningful companionship and ensure dedicated one-to-one time with residents.

• Work flexibly across day or night shifts across regional care locations.

Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)

• A solid background in care with a strong understanding of elderly care and the wider healthcare industry.

• Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care (essential, with a view to complete an NVQ Level 3).

• Ideally, a grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths.

• A dedicated, compassionate nature with a true passion for people and wellbeing.

• Your own car or ready access to one (essential for regional travel).

• Note: Mileage is reimbursed for travel over 5 miles from your main home, and inspection bonuses apply if you are on duty when a 'Good' rating is achieved!
