Position: Care and Support Worker (Relief) — Permanent, Flexible Hours (Nights and Weekends)

Pay Rate: £13.96 per hour

Personal & Practical Support: Provide person-centred care to meet residents' personal, social, emotional, spiritual, and practical needs in line with individual care plans.
Keyworker Duties: Act as a key worker for a group of service users, supporting their overall wellbeing and helping them settle into the scheme.
Mobility & Independence: Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and the safe use of aids, while promoting residents' privacy, choice, and independence.
Daily Living & Safety: Support with daily tasks like housekeeping and shopping, and respond appropriately to emergency situations while maintaining accurate records.
Personal Qualities: A kind, patient, and committed approach with a genuine, respectful interest in supporting older people.
Communication Skills: Clear communication abilities and strong listening skills to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
Experience: Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential—full training and support are provided, with encouragement to work towards a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
Proximity: Ideally living within approximately 15 miles of Newport Pagnell for a manageable and balanced commute.
