Shift Pattern: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 15:00 – 23:00

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Greencore (following their combination with Bakkavor) to find dedicated hospitality and support talent. Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their state-of-the-art Warrington facility—renowned as the Italian center of excellence producing top-tier ready meals—we are currently seeking a friendly and hardworking Restaurant Assistant to join their evening and weekend catering team.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Till Operation: Serve colleagues, take payments for goods, and maintain a welcoming environment.
Food Prep & Hygiene: Ensure the hygienic preparation of raw ingredients, snacks, and hot meals while directly safeguarding food safety and consumer health standards.
Cleaning & Sanitation: Continuously wash utensils, dishes, and surfaces, clean staff microwaves daily, and follow the cleaning matrix for fridges, freezers, fryers, walls, and floors.
Temperature Monitoring & Safety: Regularly check and log fridge, freezer, and food temperatures in line with health standards while wearing appropriate PPE.
What We Are Looking For
Skills: A good level of English and math, strong communication skills, and high attention to detail with the ability to work unsupervised.
Attributes: A positive "can-do" attitude, willingness to support the team when needed, and comfort standing for long periods or working in high-temperature kitchen environments.
Knowledge: A basic understanding of health & safety and food hygiene is advantageous (though full training will be provided).
