Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with the Communities and Regulatory Services team to recruit a proactive and dynamic Executive Support Officer for the Safer Bradford Service.
The Communities and Regulatory Services team plays a central role in improving the quality of life for Bradford residents, ensuring that local neighborhoods are safe, healthy, and inclusive. In this key role, you will provide high-level professional support, combining performance analysis, systems leadership, HR support, and governance responsibilities to ensure the service operates efficiently and compliantly.
As Executive Support Officer, you will act as a trusted and reliable adviser and first point of contact on systems, data, and corporate requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Management & Performance Support: Analyzing and presenting regular management/financial reports, tracking variances, and preparing reports with recommendations for Safer Bradford and central teams.
Systems Leadership: Acting as a 'super-user' and systems champion for the service, leading on office systems standardization and attending liaison and training meetings.
HR & Attendance Leadership: Taking lead responsibility for service HR systems, acting as the Service Attendance Champion, managing sickness and absence monitoring, and supporting vacancy control and redeployment.
Governance & Compliance: Serving as the designated Complaints/Freedom of Information (FOI) Gatekeeper, advising on GDPR and Data Protection matters, and ensuring compliance with Council Key Controls.
Secretariat Duties: Acting as meeting note-taker for formal boards, MARAC, case meetings, trade union meetings, disciplinaries, grievances, and general management meetings.

Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to interpret, analyze, and present complex performance, financial, and HR data clearly for senior managers.
Systems Proficiency: Confidence working with and championing complex corporate software and databases.
Governance Knowledge: A solid understanding of local authority governance, including FOI, complaints handling, and GDPR.
Communication & Influence: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, provide clear advice, and influence stakeholders at all levels in a fast-paced environment.
