Salary: Annual Salary of £39,281
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with the odd weekend required. Sponsorship is not available).

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Castleholme Lodge to source an experienced and dedicated Physical Health Nurse. Are you a Registered General Nurse looking for a new opportunity to lead physical healthcare coordination within a supportive, patient-centred organization?
Join the team at Castleholme Lodge in Huddersfield. As part of a complete service refurbishment, you will take charge of managing physical health needs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and helping residents achieve optimum physical wellbeing.
What You Will Be Doing
Lead and coordinate all aspects of physical healthcare plans and treatments to maintain patients' optimum physical wellbeing.
Manage routine and ad hoc health monitoring, including blood screenings (Clozapine/Lithium), ECGs, and long-term condition testing (asthma, diabetes) in line with national guidance.
Act as the hospital lead for infection control and nasogastric (NG) tube feeding, educating staff and ensuring adherence to clinical prescriptions.
Chair the monthly healthy living group, undertake clinical audits, support emergency drills, and lead staff education/immunisation initiatives (such as flu vaccines).
Key Skills & Qualifications
Hold a full and valid NMC registration (RGN) with required evidence.
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-registration experience.
Hands-on experience in NG Feeding, Phlebotomy, and training/educating others.
A solid understanding of eating disorders and mental health.

Castleholme Lodge in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire (HD2 2AH) is a newly refurbished 20-bed care home with nursing, providing specialist mental health services for adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
