Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF) and Bradford Council to recruit an experienced, creative, and strategic Marketing & Communications Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced designer with a broader background in running a communication function. Working closely with senior leaders—including the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer—you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to create compelling campaigns, manage internal/external communications, and reinforce trust in one of the country’s most respected Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) funds.
About the Role
As Marketing & Communications Manager, you will oversee digital channels, design stunning statutory and marketing materials, and drive audience engagement. Key responsibilities include:
Visual & Written Identity: Developing and protecting WYPF’s visual and written identity across all digital and traditional channels.
Campaign & Content Creation: Creating accessible, engaging content for digital platforms (web, social, email) and traditional formats (statutory reports, newsletters, brochures).
Digital & Innovation: Managing website and social media content, enhancing user experience, and exploring new communication methods, including video, animation, and AI tools.
Stakeholder Engagement & Procurement: Building positive relationships with media and partners, managing external agencies, and ensuring compliance with accessibility, GDPR, and brand standards.
Reporting & Insights: Providing monthly reporting on communications, web performance, and insights to inform key decisions by senior leadership.
About You
We are looking for a confident design and communications professional who brings:
Extensive experience in running a communications function and managing visual/written branding.
Proficiency working across both modern digital media and traditional design.
Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to delivery.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to advise senior leaders.
A proactive, forward-thinking mindset with a passion for creative storytelling and continuous improvement.
